Rockmond Dunbar (born January 11, 1973) is an American actor best known for his roles in various television series. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Baines on the NBC series Earth 2 and Kenny Chadway on Showtime's Soul Food. Dunbar also achieved popularity for his role as Benjamin Miles 'C-Note' Franklin on Fox's Prison Break and as Sheriff Eli Roosevelt on FX's Sons of Anarchy. He has appeared in several other shows such as The Mentalist, The Path, and 9-1-1. Dunbar was born in Oakland, California, and attended Oakland Technical High School before pursuing his studies at Morehouse College, the College of Santa Fe, and the University of New Mexico.
