Rod Stryker (born Nimrod Andre Gross; 19 October 1957) is an American yoga and meditation teacher, author, and speaker. He is the founder of ParaYoga and has been teaching yoga since 1982. Stryker is known for his expertise in the tantric tradition of Sri Vidya and has been initiated into this tradition by his current teacher, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait. In addition to his yoga and meditation work, Stryker has also had a career in acting. He appeared as an actor on the soap opera Capital and had roles in two popular action adventure shows of the 1980s, Riptide and The A-Team.
