Ronald Joseph Livingston, born on June 5, 1967, is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Peter Gibbons in the 1999 film Office Space and Captain Lewis Nixon III in the 2001 miniseries Band of Brothers. Livingston has also appeared in films such as Swingers (1996), Adaptation (2002), and The Conjuring (2013). His television credits include Loudermilk and Boardwalk Empire, where he appeared in the fourth season. Livingston was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and attended Yale University, where he graduated in 1989. He has a younger brother who is also an actor and a sister who is a former TV news personality.
