Ronni Ancona Biography
Ronni Ancona is a British actress, comedian, impressionist, and writer known for her work on The Big Impression and The Sketch Show. Born on July 4, 1966, in Louth, Lincolnshire, Ancona was raised in Troon, Scotland. She is of Italian Jewish descent and has two older brothers. Ancona co-wrote and starred in The Big Impression, a popular comedy program on BBC One that earned several awards, including a BAFTA in 2003. She also appeared in the BAFTA-winning ITV series The Sketch Show and has been a part of the BAFTA-winning Last Tango in Halifax since 2012. Ancona is a co-director of the production company Captain Dolly.
