Rose Leslie

Rose Leslie is a Scottish actress known for her roles in popular TV series and films. She was born on February 9, 1987, in Aberdeen, Scotland. Leslie gained recognition for playing Gwen Dawson in the ITV drama series Downton Abbey and Ygritte in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. She also starred as Maia Rindell in three seasons of the CBS All Access legal and political drama The Good Fight and portrayed Clare Abshire in HBO's The Time Traveler's Wife. Leslie was raised at Lickleyhead Castle in Aberdeenshire and comes from a noble lineage, with her father being the Chieftain of the Aberdeenshire branch of the Scottish Clan Leslie.
