Rose McGowan is an American actress and activist known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She began her acting career with a brief role in the comedy film Encino Man (1992) and gained recognition for her performance in the dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995). McGowan achieved mainstream success with her role in the horror film Scream (1996) and went on to star in films such as Going All the Way (1997), Devil in the Flesh (1998), and Jawbreaker (1999).
