Rosie Malek-Yonan

Rosie Malek-Yonan (b. July 4, 1965) is an Assyrian-American actress, author, director, and public figure. Born in Tehran, Iran, she is best known for her work in over 30 films and television series, including 'Up Close & Personal' (1996) and 'Rendition' (2007), as well as appearances on shows like 'Generations,' 'Dynasty,' 'CSI: Miami,' 'JAG,' 'ER,' and 'Babylon 5.' Malek-Yonan is also the author of the historical novel 'The Crimson Field,' which depicts the Assyrian genocide during World War I and has gained popularity among modern Assyrians.
