Ross Mullan is a Canadian-British actor and puppeteer, known for his roles in popular television shows and films. He gained recognition for portraying White Walkers on the HBO series Game of Thrones from seasons two to four. Mullan has also made appearances in episodes of Doctor Who and the 2010 film Clash of the Titans. Born on January 5, 1967, in Montreal, Canada, Mullan developed his acting skills through formal training at John Abbott College and Ryerson University. After moving to the UK, he toured with various theatre companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, performing in musical productions such as David Copperfield, Gulliver's Travels, and Sherlock Holmes. Mullan's versatility extends to puppeteering, where he showcased his talents in the show Dinotopia.
