    Ross Markham Noble (born 6 June 1976) is an English stand-up comedian and actor. He gained mainstream popularity through appearances on British television, including interviews and panel shows such as Have I Got News for You. Noble has released several DVDs of his tours. In 2007, he was voted the 10th-greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, and ranked as the 11th-greatest in the 2010 list. He made his film debut in the 2012 fantasy comedy horror movie Stitches, and his musical theatre debut in The Producers in 2015. In 2018, Noble was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for his performance in Young Frankenstein in the West End. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Noble was raised in Cramlington, Northumberland. He attended Cramlington Learning Village from 1987 to 1991. Noble's stand-up routine is known for being largely improvised and surreal.
