Roxana Brusso is a Peruvian/American actress, born on November 19, 1978, in Lima, Peru. She is best known for her roles as Detective Alicia Fernández in the popular TV series Southland and Sheri Strepling in Touch. Brusso has a diverse background, with Peruvian, Italian, and Spanish heritage. At the age of four, her family relocated to North Hollywood, California. Brusso developed an interest in acting during her college years and has since appeared in various television series, including Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210, Crossing Jordan, Without a Trace, ER, and NCIS. She had a recurring role as Maria on ABC's Dirty Sexy Money and as Detective Alicia Fernández on TNT's Southland. Additionally, she appeared on Fox's series Touch in 2012.
