Ruby Barker

Ruby Barker (born 23 December 1996) is a British actress known for her role as Marina in the Netflix period drama Bridgerton (2020–2022). She received the Best Actress award at the British Urban Film Festival in 2020 for her performance in the film How to Stop a Recurring Dream. Barker was born in Islington to Irish and Montserratian parents and was raised in various locations, including London, Winchester, and Glasgow. She began her acting career with an RBS advertisement and later attended the Elizabeth Murray School of Dance in Glasgow. Barker currently resides in Church Fenton, Yorkshire. She attended Tadcaster Grammar School and had plans to study International Relations at the London School of Economics.
