Rudy De Luca is an American screenwriter and actor known for his collaborative work with filmmaker Mel Brooks. He co-wrote and appeared in several films including 'Silent Movie' (1976), 'High Anxiety' (1977), 'Transylvania 6-5000' (1985), 'Life Stinks' (1991), and 'Dracula: Dead and Loving It' (1995). He also directed 'Transylvania 6-5000' and co-wrote the film 'Caveman' (1981). De Luca was involved in the opening of The Comedy Store in April 1972 alongside Sammy Shore. He has made television appearances on shows like 'The Carol Burnett Show' (1967), 'The Tim Conway Show' (1970), and 'The Marty Feldman Comedy Machine' (1971).
