Rudy Ramos Biography
Rudy Ramos (born September 19, 1950) is an American actor and musician. He was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma and has had a prolific acting career spanning six decades. Ramos made his debut on the television show Ironside in 1969 and six months later became a series regular on the western series The High Chaparral, portraying the character Wind. He has also appeared in other TV shows such as Hunter (1987–1988) and Yellowstone (2018–present). In addition to his television work, Ramos has appeared in several films including Helter Skelter (1976), The Enforcer (1976), The Driver (1978), Defiance (1980), Quicksilver (1986), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Open House (1987), and Colors (1988). Ramos is of mixed Native American and Mexican heritage and was featured in a story by Hillary Atkin for the Television Academy Emmys during Native American Heritage Month in November 2020.
