Rupert Francis Young (born 16 May 1978) is an English actor known for his roles in popular television series and films. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Sir Leon in the BBC drama series Merlin and Lord Jack Featherington in the hit series Bridgerton. Young hails from Lambeth, London and has appeared in various television shows including Doc Martin, Foyle's War, Hotel Babylon, and The White Queen. He has also showcased his talent in films such as Dirty Filthy Love (2004), Writers Retreat (2015), and The Secret Garden (2020). Notably, Young received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his performance in the stage show Dear Evan Hansen. In 2022, he reprised his role as Lord Jack Featherington in the second season of Bridgerton.
