Russell Howard Biography
Russell Joseph Howard is an English comedian, television presenter, radio presenter, and actor. He gained popularity through his television show Russell Howard's Good News and is currently hosting The Russell Howard Hour. Howard is recognized for his appearances on the topical panel TV show Mock the Week. He won the 'Best Compère' award at the 2006 Chortle Awards and was nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2006. Some of his influences include comedians Lee Evans, Richard Pryor, and Frank Skinner. Born in Bristol, Howard attended Hanham High School, Perins School, and Alton College before studying economics at the University of the West of England, Bristol. He has also written, sung, and performed on the comedy series The Milk Run for BBC Radio 1.
