Ruth Millar

Ruth Laura Millar, born in Newton Mearns, Scotland in 1975, is a Scottish actress, writer, and producer. She attended Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, graduating with a fine art degree in 1996. Millar established her own production company, Wee Lassie Productions, which showcased talented actors and writers. Her breakthrough came when she was spotted by an agent during a showcase held at the Groucho Club in London, leading to her role as the Punto girl in a highly successful advertising campaign. Millar gained critical acclaim for her performance in the TV series Glasgow Kiss and went on to star as Morag Black in the Bafta-winning Channel 4 drama North Square. She has also appeared in various other popular television shows.
