Rutledge Wood, born on April 22, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama, is an auto racing analyst and TV show host. He gained popularity as one of the hosts for History's Top Gear alongside Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust, starting from November 21, 2010. Prior to that, he hosted NASCAR Trackside until 2013 and the Speed Road Tour Challenge in 2007. Rutledge is also recognized for winning the 2013 Long Beach Toyota Celebrity Race. In addition to his auto racing-related shows, Wood has hosted Lost in Transmission, a series about fixing up classic cars, and currently serves as the host for the Netflix shows Floor Is Lava and The American Barbecue Showdown. He is also set to host a new competition on NBC.
