Ryan James Bittle (born March 21, 1976) is an American actor known for his appearances in movies and TV shows. He began his acting career on television in 1994. Bittle was born in La Crescenta, California to Kathy Homewood, a nurse and ICU director, and Jim Bittle, a Glendale fire captain. He attended Crescenta Valley High School and later studied at Pasadena City College, The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and The Juilliard School. Bittle initially had plans to play NCAA water polo and attend medical school but discovered his passion for acting in his senior year of high school. He is best known for his role as Todd Wilkins in the television series Sweet Valley High.
