Ryan Cabrera
Ryan Frank Cabrera (born July 18, 1982) is an American musician. He started his career as the lead singer of Dallas band Rubix Groove before going solo. In 2001, he released his independent album Elm St. and gained recognition with the up-tempo pop-rock single 'On the Way Down'. Cabrera's first major-label album, 'Take It All Away', was released in 2004 and featured the singles 'True' and '40 Kinds of Sadness'. Born in Dallas, Texas, Cabrera has Colombian and American heritage. He grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, and attended Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. Before his solo career, he was part of a punk band called Caine.
