Ryan Donowho is an American actor and musician, born on September 20, 1980, in Houston, Texas. He gained initial exposure as an uncredited extra in the film 'Varsity Blues.' After relocating to Brooklyn, New York, and then to Los Angeles, Donowho was discovered by a modeling agent while street drumming in New York City. His official movie debut came in 2001's 'The Car Thief and the Hit Man.' Notable roles include co-starring with Emile Hirsch in 'The Mudge Boy' (2003) and in 'Imaginary Heroes' (2004), where he portrayed a sexually ambiguous character. Donowho's work in 'A Home at the End of the World' further solidified his positive reputation in the industry.
