Ryan Eggold

Ryan James Eggold (born August 10, 1984) is an American actor known for his roles in various television series. He gained recognition for portraying Ryan Matthews on the CW teen drama series 90210. Eggold also played Tom Keen on the NBC crime drama series The Blacklist and its spin-off series The Blacklist: Redemption. Another notable role was as hospital director Dr. Max Goodwin on the NBC medical drama series New Amsterdam. Born in Lakewood, California, Eggold is of German, Croatian, and Austrian-Jewish descent. He graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School and later from the University of Southern California's theater arts department. Eggold made his television debut in 2006 on the show Related and his film debut in the short film Con: The Corruption of Helm.
