Ryan Douglas Hurst (born June 19, 1976) is an American actor known for his roles in film and television. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Gerry Bertier in the 2000 sports drama Remember the Titans. Hurst also garnered acclaim for his performance as Opie Winston in the FX drama series Sons of Anarchy from 2008 to 2012. In addition to his on-screen work, he provided the voice of Thor in the video game God of War Ragnarök, earning him a BAFTA Award nomination. Hurst was born in Santa Monica, California, and comes from a Hollywood family background. He attended Santa Monica High School and later converted to Sikhism, taking the name Gobind Seva Singh.
