Ryan Jamaal Swain

Ryan Jamaal Swain is an American actor and dancer known for his role as Damon Richards-Evangelista, a gay dancer, in the FX television series Pose. Born on March 13, 1994, in Orlando, Florida, Swain grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, in a single-mother household. From a young age, he showed a passion for the arts, particularly dance. Swain received training in tap, ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop dancing, working with various dance academies and theater companies. He also ventured into catalog modeling at the age of eight. Swain discovered his interest in acting during his freshman year at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and has since made a name for himself in the entertainment industry.
