Ryan Lewis Biography
Ryan Scott Lewis (born March 25, 1988) is an American record producer, DJ, videographer, photographer, graphic designer, music video director, rapper, and songwriter. He is best known for his collaboration with rapper Macklemore as part of the duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Lewis produced several albums, including The VS. EP (2009), The Heist (2012), and This Unruly Mess I've Made (2016). He also directed and designed promotional graphics for the duo's music videos, including popular hits such as 'Thrift Shop' and 'Can't Hold Us'. Lewis began his career by befriending Macklemore on Myspace and soon became his behind-the-scenes partner, handling production, recording, engineering, and mixing of their music.
