Ryan Starr, born Tiffany Montgomery on November 21, 1982, is a singer and television personality. She gained popularity as a contestant on the first season of American Idol, where she finished seventh. Starr later released a successful single on iTunes and participated in various television programs, modeling campaigns, and global music tours. Born in Sunland, Los Angeles, Starr grew up in a small-town environment, considering herself a tomboy. She has three sisters and is of Peruvian, Bolivian, French, and Irish descent. Despite being named Homecoming Queen, Starr described herself as 'dorky' and not one of the popular kids. She graduated from Verdugo Hills High School.
