Ryne Sanborn Biography
Ryne Andrew Sanborn (born February 3, 1989) is an American ice hockey player and former actor. He began his acting career at a young age, starting with modeling and co-starring in the 1997 TV movie Not in This Town at the age of seven. Sanborn had guest roles on Touched by an Angel in 1998 and Everwood in 2003. He gained prominence for his role as Jason Cross in the High School Musical trilogy. In addition to his acting career, Sanborn showcased his talents as the main 'Child of Light' in the Salt Lake Winter Olympics' Opening and Closing Ceremonies in 2002. After retiring from acting in 2008, he pursued his passion for architecture and currently plays ice hockey for the Salt Lake Outliers.
