    Ryu Soo-young, born Eo Nam-seon on September 5, 1979, is a South Korean actor known for his diverse television and film roles. He started his career in 1998 as a college student on a cooking show and gained attention with his role in the controversial film Summertime (2001). Ryu has appeared in numerous TV dramas, including Successful Story of a Bright Girl (2002), Save the Last Dance for Me (2004), and Lawyers of the Great Republic Korea (2008). He has also taken on leading roles in series like 18 vs. 29 (2005), Seoul 1945 (2006), and Bad Couple (2007). Ryu served in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency from 2008 to 2010 as part of his mandatory military service. After his discharge, he returned to television in shows like My Princess (2011), Ojakgyo Family (2011), and Two Weeks (2013). Ryu Soo-young is married to actress Park Ha-sun.
