Sala Baker

Sala Baker is a New Zealand actor and stuntman known for his role as Sauron in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Born on September 22, 1976, he initially joined the production as a stunt performer but ended up landing the iconic role of the Dark Lord. Baker also played various Orcs, a Gondorian, and one of the Rohirrim in the trilogy. He has appeared in other notable films such as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Deadpool 2, Braven, Sleepless, and Mile 22. Additionally, he worked in the miscellaneous crew for The Last Samurai in 2003. In 2023, Baker starred in the Starz crime thriller The Last Deal and David Fincher's action film The Killer.
