Salem Ludwig Biography
Salem Ludwig (July 31, 1915 – April 1, 2007) was an American character actor and highly esteemed acting instructor. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Ludwig was blacklisted in 1957 and faced difficulty in finding stage work. However, he had a significant number of film and television credits throughout his career. Even after turning 90, he remained active in the industry until his death at the age of 91. Ludwig was represented by Theatrical Agent Archer King. Some of his notable film appearances include 'Life on the Ledge' (2005), 'Unfaithful' (2002), 'The Business of Strangers' (2001), 'Fast Food, Fast Women' (2000), and 'The Object of My Affection' (1998).
