Sally Dexter

Sally Dexter is an English actress known for her work on stage and screen. She was born on April 15, 1960, and is best known for winning the 1987 Olivier Award for Most Promising Newcomer for her role in the play Dalliance. Dexter has appeared in several West End stage productions, including Oliver! (1994), Sister Act (2010), and Billy Elliot the Musical (2013). On television, she has been seen in popular soap operas such as Night and Day (2001–2003) and Emmerdale (2017–2019, 2021–2022). Dexter's onscreen credits also include A Touch of Frost, Dalziel and Pascoe, Toast of London, and Family. She attended Chiltern Edge School, King James's College, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for her education.
