Sally Elizabeth Phillips (born May 10, 1970) is an English actress, comedian, and television presenter. She is best known for co-creating and writing the sketch comedy show Smack the Pony. Phillips has appeared in various TV shows and films, including Jam & Jerusalem, Miranda, I'm Alan Partridge, Parents, Set the Thames on Fire, Zapped, and Veep. She also starred in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and played the role of Shazza in all three Bridget Jones films. From 2004 to 2019, Phillips portrayed the title role in the BBC Radio 4 comedy show Clare in the Community. In 2022, she played the prison warden on Pennyworth.
