Sam Anderson

Sam Anderson (born April 2, 1947) is an American actor known for his character roles. He portrayed Sam Gorpley on Perfect Strangers, Principal Willis DeWitt on Growing Pains, Holland Manners on Angel, and dentist Bernard Nadler on Lost. Anderson also appeared as Doctor Harad who delivered Phoebe's triplets in Friends' 100th episode. In film, he notably played the principal in Forrest Gump. Born in Wahpeton, North Dakota, Anderson obtained a Master of Arts degree in American literature and creative writing. He taught drama at Antelope Valley College in California during the 1970s. Anderson is recognized for his versatile acting skills in various television shows and films.
