Sam Robards

Sam Prideaux Robards is an American actor known for his roles in films such as American Beauty (1999) and A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001). He received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in The Man Who Had All the Luck on Broadway. Born on December 16, 1961, in New York City, Robards is the son of actor Jason Robards and actress Lauren Bacall. He is the only child from their marriage but has seven half-siblings. Robards spent his childhood in New York City and later moved to Europe with his mother.
