Sam Tsui

Sam Tsui (born May 2, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and video producer. He gained popularity as an internet celebrity for his covers and musical medleys of pop songs. Tsui has expanded his repertoire to include original songs and mashups. He frequently collaborates with childhood friend Kurt Hugo Schneider, and together they create one-man a cappella videos. Tsui's videos have been described as a blend of Glee and Attack of the Clones. As of June 2021, he has amassed over 3.18 million subscribers on YouTube. Tsui was born in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, to a Cantonese father from Hong Kong and an American mother from Iowa. He attended Yale University and was a member of Davenport College and The Duke's Men of Yale.
