Sam Whipple

Sam Whipple (September 25, 1960 – June 3, 2002) was an American actor known for his role as Dr. John Ballard on the TV series Seven Days. He appeared in several notable movies including The Doors, Airheads, This Is Spinal Tap, and The Rock. Whipple also made appearances in various television shows such as Open All Night, The Larry Sanders Show, Seinfeld, and Home Improvement. Unfortunately, Whipple passed away at the age of 41 on June 3, 2002, after a two-year battle with cancer.
