Samantha Buck

Samantha Buck is a multi-talented personality known for her work as a film writer, director, and actress. Alongside Marie Schlingmann, she has co-written and co-directed five films together. Buck has also directed the documentary 'Best Kept Secret' on her own. The duo gained recognition for their 2019 film 'Sister Aimee'. Buck and Schlingmann, who are married, first met at Columbia University where they both earned a Master of Fine Arts in film. They started creating their first short films during their time at Columbia. Buck has appeared in notable TV shows such as 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' as Det. G. Lynn Bishop and 'Stella' as Amy. Her passion for film production was sparked during her time on the show 'Big Apple', where the cast was encouraged to take writing workshops.
