Samantha Giles

Samantha Elizabeth Giles is an English actress and author, born on July 2, 1971. She is best known for her portrayal of Bernice Blackstock in the popular ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Giles has also appeared in other television shows such as Where the Heart Is, Hollyoaks, Doctors, Dangerfield, and Midnight Man. She has received recognition for her role as Bernice, winning the TV Quick Award for Best Actress. In addition to her acting career, Giles is also an author and released her debut novel, Rosemary and the Witches of Pendle Hill, in August 2020. After leaving Emmerdale in 2019 to pursue other projects, she made a return to the show in April 2021.
