Samantha Johnson

Samantha Martel Johnson (born June 10, 1991) is an American soccer defender. She has played for National Women's Soccer League clubs Chicago Red Stars and Utah Royals FC, as well as Australian W-League clubs Melbourne Victory, Sydney FC, and Melbourne City. Johnson attended the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2012, where she played as a forward. Throughout her collegiate career, she achieved notable accomplishments, including being named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman Team and scoring the fastest goal in program history. In March 2014, Johnson joined the Chicago Red Stars after attending their Open Tryouts.
