Samba Schutte Biography
Samba Dirk-Jan Schutte (born 1 February 1983) is a Dutch-Mauritanian actor, comedian, and writer. Born in Mauritania, Schutte moved to Ethiopia at the age of two, where he attended Sandford International School in Addis Ababa. Inspired by a video game, he decided to pursue a career in acting. In 2001, Schutte relocated to the Netherlands to study theater at the Utrecht School of the Arts. He joined the Comedy Explosion, a comedy collective, in 2004 and won the Jury and Audience Award at the Leids Cabaret Festival in 2006. Schutte has performed in comedy shows and worked as a writer and presenter for the Dutch version of 'The Daily Show,' known as De nieuwste show.
