Samuel Adewunmi

Samuel Adewunmi (born 1994) is a British actor known for his roles in film and television. He gained recognition for his performance in the film The Last Tree (2019), where he won the Most Promising Newcomer award at the British Independent Film Awards and received a Best Actor nomination. Adewunmi was also nominated for a BAFTA for his role in the BBC drama You Don't Know Me (2021). He was named a 2019 Screen International Star of Tomorrow. Adewunmi was born in Camden, London and grew up on the Maiden Lane Estate. He discovered his passion for acting through a school play and trained at the Identity School of Acting. His notable TV appearances include the CBBC series Dixi and a guest role in Doctor Who.
