Sandra Borgmann

Sandra Borgmann (born April 25, 1974) is a German actress known for her versatile performances. Originally from Mülheim, she studied German, philosophy, and history before attending the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Borgmann began her acting career in 1997 and gained recognition for her early roles in films like Oi! Warning and Hotel Elfie. She has often portrayed villainous characters in TV shows such as Tatort and Polizeiruf 110. In 2004, she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the German Television Awards for her role in Tatort. Notably, Borgmann played the character of Elisabeth Doppler in the popular Netflix show Dark from 2019 to 2020. She currently resides in Hamburg and is a proud mother of a son.
