Sandra Equihua

Sandra Equihua is a Mexican animator, painter, sculptor, character designer, voice actress, and illustrator. Born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, she attended the Universidad Iberoamericana and received her BFA in Graphic Design. Sandra's passion for illustration led her to study under renowned illustrators Rafael Lopez and the Clayton Brothers. She has showcased her original paintings in galleries across Mexico and the United States. In the animation industry, Sandra has made significant contributions as a character designer and voice actress for projects like El Macho (Sony), ¡Mucha Lucha! (WB), The Buzz on Maggie (Disney), and Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! (Nick Jr.). Her work combines mid-century design influences with her Mexican heritage.
