Sandra Miju Oh is a Canadian and American actress born on July 20, 1971. She is best known for her roles as Rita Wu in the HBO comedy series Arliss (1996–2002), Dr. Cristina Yang in the ABC medical drama series Grey's Anatomy (2005–2014), and Eve Polastri in the BBC America spy thriller series Killing Eve (2018–2022). Oh has received two Golden Globe Awards and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. She gained recognition for her roles in the Canadian films Double Happiness (1994) and The Diary of Evelyn Lau (1994). Oh has also appeared in various television shows and provided voice roles in animated series. In 2021, she starred in the Netflix comedy drama series The Chair and served as an executive producer.
