Sandy Ward (July 12, 1926 – March 6, 2005) was an American film and television actor. He gained recognition for his recurring role as 'Logger Pete' on the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. Born in Alamosa, Colorado, Ward began his acting career in 1967 with a role in the crime drama series Ironside. Throughout his career, he made guest appearances in numerous television shows, including JAG, The Six Million Dollar Man, The F.B.I., The Rockford Files, Cagney & Lacey, Hill Street Blues, Murder, She Wrote, and The Dukes of Hazzard, among others. In the film industry, Ward starred in The Velvet Vampire (1971) and The Hindenburg (1975), among other films.
