Santiago Cabrera is a Chilean actor who has gained recognition for his work in British and American television. Born on May 5, 1978, in Caracas, Venezuela, Cabrera grew up in various countries due to his father's diplomatic career. He spent his formative years in England, Romania, Toronto, and Madrid before eventually returning to Chile. Despite initially pursuing a career in football, Cabrera discovered a passion for acting and trained at the Drama Centre London from 2000 to 2003. He made his television debut during his final year at the center, securing minor roles in British shows. Cabrera's notable television credits include playing Isaac Mendez in Heroes, Lancelot in Merlin, Aramis in The Musketeers, Darius Tanz in Salvation, and Captain Cristóbal Rios in Star Trek: Picard.
