    Santiago Segura Biography
    Santiago Segura Silva (born 17 July 1965) is a Spanish filmmaker, actor, television presenter, voice actor, and comic book writer. He is also known as a collector of original comic books. Segura began his filmmaking career at the age of 12 with a Super-8 camera and later transitioned to making films in 35 mm. He gained recognition for his portrayal of a metalhead in the 1995 film The Day of the Beast, which earned him the Goya Award for Best New Actor. Segura achieved great success as the director and star of the 1998 dark action comedy Torrente, the Dumb Arm of the Law, which led to four sequels. He won the Goya Award for Best New Director for this film.
