Saoirse Ronan

Saoirse Una Ronan is an American-born Irish actress. Born on April 12, 1994, she has gained recognition for her work in period dramas. Ronan has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and nominations for four Academy Awards and five British Academy Film Awards. She made her acting debut on the Irish medical drama series The Clinic in 2003 and her film debut in I Could Never Be Your Woman in 2007. Ronan's breakthrough came with her role as a precocious teenager in Atonement (2007), which earned her an Academy Award nomination.
