    Sara West is an Australian actress, director, and screenwriter, known for her versatile performances in various film and television projects. Born and raised in the Murray River area of South Australia, West discovered her passion for acting while studying at the Flinders Drama Centre at Flinders University in Adelaide. She began her career with roles in short films and television series before gaining recognition for her portrayal of Liza Minnelli in the TV series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door, which earned her a Logie Award nomination. In 2017, she received an AACTA Award nomination for her role in the film Don't Tell. West has also ventured into writing and directing, winning awards at the South Australian Screen Awards in 2014 and 2018. Currently, she can be seen on the soap opera Neighbours, portraying the character Cara Varga-Murphy.
