Sarah Sutherland

Sarah Sutherland (born February 18, 1988) is a Canadian-American actress. She is best known for her role as Catherine Meyer in the television series Veep. Sutherland was born in Los Angeles, California, and is the daughter of actor Kiefer Sutherland and Camelia Kath. She comes from a family of actors, including her grandparents Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas, and great-grandfather Tommy Douglas, a Canadian politician. Sutherland trained at the Crossroads Drama Conservatory in Los Angeles before studying at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In addition to her work on Veep, she has also appeared in other film and television projects. Sutherland won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for Veep's sixth season.
