    Sarah Winman is a British author and actress born on December 24, 1964. She gained international recognition with her debut novel, When God Was a Rabbit (2011), which became a bestseller and earned her the New Writer of the Year award at the Galaxy National Book Awards. Winman continued her success with her second novel, A Year of Marvellous Ways (2015), and her third novel, Tin Man (2017), which was shortlisted for the Costa Book Awards in 2017. Her fourth novel, Still Life, was published in 2021.
